ORDERING MULTIPLE TITLES
Step One: ORDERING All you need to do to place your order is click PLACE ORDER and fill out the e-mail that comes up with the following information.

Preferred shipping method: basic or residential ground -- otherwise we will bill you at basic rate of $4.00 for first book, $1.00 for each additional book. (More on shipping options below.)

WE WILL RESPOND WITHIN 24 HOURS WITH AN ELECTRONICALLY PAYABLE INVOICE THROUGH PAY PAL THAT GIVES THE TOTAL BOOK COSTS AND THE SHIPPING AND HANDLING COSTS.
Step Two: PAYING INVOICE Review the invoice. If it is correct, click where indicated on the invoice and you can pay by any major credit card or by PayPal. You do not need to have a PayPal account to use the electronic invoice.
ONCE WE HAVE RECEIVED CONFIRMATION OF PAYMENT WE WILL SUBMIT YOUR ORDER TO OUR PRINTER WITHIN 24 HOURS AND THEY WILL SHIP WITHIN 2-3 DAYS.
WISING UP PRESS SHIPPING COSTS
We charge $4.00 shipping & handling for the first book you order, $1.00 for each additional book through 9 books, and 50 cents for each book thereafter. This is for UPS basic shipping, which takes 7-10 days for delivery and has limited tracking (comparable to USPS media rate and what you would usually get with Amazon orders). The residential ground rate is more expensive but is trackable and delivers in 1-6 business days; if you are interested, let us know and we'll give you a quote. We do suggest residential ground for 5 or more books, but the choice is yours.

PRINT ON DEMAND AND SMALL PRESS ECONOMICS
We are trying to provide all our customers with book prices that are competitive to the large distributors who also carry our books. We are pleased to have you buy our books anywhere you find them, but are delighted to have you buy them directly from us.
We make use of the distribution services of our printer, Lightning Source, which include having our books listed with the major book distributors and available to them at standard wholesale discounts. We are very pleased to have this broad accessibility, but we, obviously, make more profit if we can sell off our own website. Our authors do too. With our anthologies, we share that profit with our contributing authors by selling to them at a substantial discount and letting them sell the books at their readings and retain the profit difference between that and list price.
We are providing discounts that, on single book purchases, match or exceed the discounts offered by large internet distributors, and allow more savings for multiple purchases. Our basic shipping rate is also comparable at $4.00 for the first book and $1.00 for each additional book. There is no difference in response time for us and for the major distributors since the books are all printed on demand from the same printer.
